Garden Tables and Dining Sets

Garden tables and dining sets prove invaluable on sunny days and offer the perfect solution if you want to eat outside with the family. They are also great to have friends or relatives over for a barbecue or to use for entertaining the children outdoors. You can place garden tables and dining sets almost anywhere in the garden including the lawn, patio or decked area. They can work well in shaded or sunny spot, although you may want to use an umbrella for protection if you position the table in an area that gets a lot of sunshine.

Nelson Potter sell a wide range of stylish garden furniture which is long lasting and offers good value for money. Our range includes the 2330 mm diameter eight seater round table, which is available with or without chair backs and the Domas Set.

The Domas Set is made up of a 1500 mm length x 800 mm wide rectangular table, with two benches for seating. These benches are not fixed to the table, so they have the advantage that they can be easily moved to other parts of the garden.

The Dining Set has a table width of 1280 mm and offers attractive four-seater al fresco dining. It is available with wooden armchairs which are easily portable and can be moved to a sunny or shady area of the garden when required.

All our garden tables and patio sets come in kit form, with all you need to assemble the product including easy-to-follow instructions.

The majority of our wooden garden furniture is treated in an ACQ 1900 green, which is typically an appealing light olive green colour. Please check individual product specifications. This pressure treatment is designed to extend the life of your garden furniture by keeping rot, vermin and insects at bay.

Picnic Tables

Picnic tables can be used in the gardens of just about any type of property. They are suitable for large back gardens with lawned terraces or small properties with a paved front garden and provide a sturdy furniture solution for serving food or drinks.

Nelson Potter sell six seater and four seater rectangular picnic tables. The 1770 mm length x 1530 mm width six seater picnic table has lift-up seats which makes it easily portable and the four-seater Moreland is 1480 mm x 1500.

Our picnic tables are supplied in kit form with everything you need to assemble them at home, including easy to follow instructions.

All our picnic tables have been pressure treated for durability. During the treatment process, the wood is coated in a liquid preservative and placed in a pressurised vacuum container. This forces the chemical deep into the core of the wood which increases the life of the product.

Benches

Whether you live in the city or countryside, benches are a great form of seating to have in any garden. Place them in a sunny or shady area in the front or back garden, or under an archway.

Nelson Potter sells three different styles of benches including the traditional style 1.5 or 1.2 Moreland Bench made from planed Swedish softwood timber and the more contemporary style minimalist 3 seat or 2 Seat Bench. Both sets of benches require assembly and the instructions are provided to help you with this.

Our 1.2 and 1.5 long Rustic Bench adds a beautiful touch to your garden. This superb patio seating has been manufactured from Swedish Redwood timber and has been treated in an attractive rich satin water-based stain. Both of our Rustic Benches come fully assembled, so they can be used straight away.

Seats

Outdoor seating can be placed anywhere in the garden. In hideaway areas, by the garden pond, or underneath a favourite tree. Two seats grouped together look magical in a garden and have an adjoining table to put drinks or snacks while you sit or chat.

Our seating includes the traditional Moreland Alcove which is 1900 mm (l) x 730 mm (w) and 900 mm (h). This attractive group of two seats has the added benefit of a surface area for food or reading material. It is supplied in kit form for self-assembly and all the instructions and fittings are provided for this.

The Rustic Alcove has been manufactured from Swedish redwood timber and is treated with a water-based stain. This striking outdoor garden furniture measures 1700 mm (l) x 850 mm (w) x 870 mm and arrives fully-assembled.

Tree Seats

Tree seats are ornamental seats built around the trunk of the tree and offer a practical solution in a garden where space is at a premium. They are a decorative and stylish form of seating and have grown in popularity.

Nelson Potter’s Tree Seat looks fantastic all types of gardens can fit around a tree with the maximum diameter of 500 mm.

It requires self assembly and like many of Nelson Potter’s garden products, the seating has been pressure treated to make it more durable.
