Wooden sheds or summer houses have a multitude of uses. They can be used as workshops, children’s play zones, gyms or simply for relaxation. Nelson Potter sell a wide range of wooden garden buildings including timber sheds, summer houses, log cabins, garages and workshops.

Wooden Sheds
Wooden sheds can really enhance your garden. They are not only for used storing garden tools and equipment but they can also be used as an extension of your home as a play area, garden office, craft room or even an outside bar. There is no limit to your imagination!

Nelson Potter sell a wide range of wooden sheds including potting sheds, lean-to, lockable sheds, square sheds, rectangular and barn sheds with additional storage in the eves.  Our sheds range in size from the smallest, 5’ x 4’ (1450 mm x 1150 mm) Budget Apex Shed, to the 12’ x 8’ (3550 mm x 2350 mm) Barn Shed (largest size).

Before buying a garden shed, there are some things you need to consider first. Think about what you want to use the shed for before deciding on the size. You may only need a garden or allotment shed for storing equipment and tools, or you could want one to serve a wider use – such as a garden shed large enough to be used as an office.

Think about the design of the shed, the layout and where you hope to put it. Make sure it proportionate to your outside area and does not swamp your garden. You may want to consider the quality of the construction and whether you need cladding. For larger sheds, planning permission may be required.

All our wooden sheds are treated with a base coat, which is a spray on application. As this is only designed as a first step, we recommend that all buildings treated with a base coat are then treated with a high quality preservative after fitting.

Our sheds are sold in a flat pack form with all fittings included and we also offer a fitting service if required (price on application).
