Al Fresco Dining Area – This is the most common use for decking and if it is installed close to the house (outside sliding doors) it can almost be used as an extension of your home, creating an outdoor ‘room’ with an attractive wooden garden table set or a picnic table with umbrella for shading. If your garden is a suntrap, you might want to think about creating a shaded area in this space with a beautiful pagoda and climbing plants.
